I returned to Glasgow in 1994 after qualifying with many distinctions as an Aestheticienne - the study of facial aesthetics, at The Marbella Beauty School under the auspices of the principle, the beauty world renoun, Christine Shaw, formerly of Bond Street London and Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

As the first Scottish Fibroblast Aestheticienne I trained in Purebeau Fibroblast Plasma Eyelid treatment and then as an  Advanced Fibroblast Aestheticienne. This revolutionary treatment shrinks the unwanted excess skin from the lid, revealing an open eye. Advanced treatments include smoothing crepey skin, tighten lines and wrinkles include crows feet, upper lip, nasolabial line, under eye area, lower face and neck areas.

Facial Aesthetics are a priority for me, performing DermaPen MicroNeedling, this controlled micro injuries to the skin induces the production of collagen & elastin in  the areas addressing concerns of lines, wrinkles, crepey skin, sun damage pigmentation, scarring, surgical scars, acne scarring and serious retexturising of the skin. 

Permanent MakeUp, including Microblading, are treatments that I  have passion for, which comes naturally to me due to my make-up artistry skills. My precision work is creative and aesthetic, my mastery with a needle is a skill that I've had since completing my Beauty Therapy qualification in 1992.

With my Expert Dermalogica Skin Therapist status I have the knowledge to treat and recognise every skin type and condition to give you the best skin health possible, from ProSkin treatments to ProNano Needling. As an Aestheticienne, I have unprecedented knowledge of how the skin works and skincare ingredients, I will give you answers to your skin concerns and conditions.  A true expert in my field.

I have completed post graduate courses in Sweden, London, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow. I have worked throughout Europe and have gained a wealth of experience particularly as a make up artist working along side many experienced photographers on shoots for national newspapers, magazines and TV. I have even utilised my beauty knowledge by answering the listeners beauty questions on BBC Radio Scotland Fred MacAulay Show and for a local Scottish radio station.

I have worked on national advertising campaigns as a make-up artist. Whilst working closely with established photographers I have been heavily involved with the PR photographs for music bands and educated my profession at beauty exhibitions. I decided to open a salon to share my experience and knowledge with an ever increasing exclusive client base. Julie Ross Aestheticienne - Beauty, was born.
